Hello! My name is Kelly Range and I am the bariatric nurse practitioner at MIIS Weight Loss Institute. I joined the team in 2019. Prior to becoming a certified nurse practitioner, I worked in the ICU and Recovery Room which is where I first met Dr. Huguet. I have always been impressed with how passionate he is about caring for his patients and helping them improve their life. I was honored to have the chance to join this practice.
My favorite thing about being a part of this practice is my interaction with the patients. I love being able to help take a bariatric patients from the beginning of their journey through weight loss surgery and beyond. I get to help guide them through each step of the process and witness them accomplishing their goals firsthand. Our patients are amazing! I also get to oversee our medical weight loss program to help patients lose weight who don’t meet the criteria for surgery or prefer a non-surgical approach.
Something that makes this practice different from other practices in the area is the access to our surgeons. They are all wonderfully skilled and very enjoyable to work with. We also have a Retail Manager & Bariatric Marketing Director, Hannah, who is a bariatric patient herself and a wonderful resource for our patients guiding them on their journey as well. The support from the front desk to our billing department is also wonderful.
I love that every person here at this office is excited to help our patients succeed whether they are here for weight loss surgery, medical weight loss, or any other type of general surgery procedure. I love being a part of it all!
